1. Who we are

MERIT IQ ("we," "us") provides AI-powered profile evaluation, structured documentation support, and mentorship for individuals preparing their own EB-1A or EB-2 NIW petitions. By using this site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Not a law firm

MERIT IQ is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal services. Using this site or our services does not create an attorney-client relationship. We strongly recommend review of your petition by a licensed immigration attorney before submission.

3. You remain the petitioner

We provide evaluation, evidence organization, structured documentation, opportunity research, and mentorship. You are the petitioner in every engagement: you review, approve, and sign your own filing. We do not file petitions on your behalf.

4. No guaranteed outcomes

Immigration categories, evidentiary standards, processing times, and queue movement change without notice. Nothing on this site or in our deliverables is a prediction or guarantee of any outcome, including approval of any petition.

5. Fees & refunds

Fees for paid services are outlined at the time of engagement. The free gap analysis carries no obligation to continue. Refund eligibility for paid stages is addressed in your individual service agreement.

6. Confidentiality

Information you share is used solely to deliver your engagement and is handled per our Privacy Policy. We do not share your case materials outside our direct team and assigned mentors without your consent.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to provide accurate information about your background and case. Misrepresentation of credentials, accomplishments, or documents undermines both your case and our ability to advise you accurately, and may result in termination of services.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MERIT IQ is not liable for immigration outcomes, denials, processing delays, or decisions made by USCIS or any government authority. Our services are advisory and supportive in nature.

9. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
